underthemountain- good to see the silverware getting used! I knew that one gravy dipper would make something lovely. I think they would look great stamped!

fantasticmio- I love that hat! Is it hard to crochet with the double ended hook?

Thanks ehinders!

It was... ok.  I wouldn't recommend it as your first double-ended hook project, but once I got the hang of it, it wasn't too bad.  The pom-poms get in the way of seeing what you're doing sometimes, and I got the best fabric results by using a hook that seemed just a tiny bit too big for the yarn, but you hit a grove after a while.

We'll see what happens when I make that queen-sized blanket mr.fantastic is asking for. Tongue

I've totally been slacking on posting projects!  With being pregnant and totaling my car, my brain has been on the fritz.  Though I have been doing stuff!  I just forget to get my pictures uploaded, or forget to take pictures at all.  *facepalm*

My hubby is in a christian band with his brother and a couple other guys and they asked me to make the album art for their cd.  I couldn't believe my BIL asked me to do it!  But I did!  Their CD came out at the end of December.  And I still haven't remembered to post pictures of it yet.  *sigh*  Well here is the front of it.  I don't seem to have the inside or back on this computer, so this will have to do for now:

In February I made this cross stitch for my hubby.  I had been working on it since December, but got it done in time for V-Day!  It is a quote from Trigun, which an anime that my hubby and I love.  We like to randomly sing this little diddy sometimes.  ^_^  He really liked it, he is a huge fan of cross-stitch and embroidery.  He just loves it when we get hooplas.  Since it was such an unusual size, I got one of those floating frames and just cut it down so it would fit inside.

I also made some hair flowers for my hubby's cousin's baby that she is having next month, as well as his other cousin's baby since I made a bunch of them.  Ethan's family is reproducing like crazy right now.  Of course, I didn't take a picture of them.  You will just have to trust that they were super cute!  ^_^

I made my super chocolately cake for my SIL's birthday.  Mmmm cake!  Seriously my favorite chocolate cake ever!

And sometime this week I will have more projects to share with you!  My IYP swap package was received and I made some kitty beds for the Humane Society this weekend, as well.  I also have been invite making like crazy.  My hubby's & twin brother's 30th is next month, as well as my SIL's baby shower.  I will get those posted in the next couple days!  Weeee!

Jilly--we forgive you your pregnancy "forgetfulness" ! Cheesy  I mean, when you do post---wow!

That cake looks so delicious!  Like it would melt in your mouth!

Congrats on the cd release (my hubby also just released a cd but all i contributed was a few hand claps... Cheesy)...the art is catching, which is good!

Can't wait to see your IYP items as well...

Man I love that you can just draw whatever you want and your embroidery machine just does it!  That is so stinking cool!  Such a lovely towel for Lime!

Missingwillow, you do pottery too? So many talents. Nice yarn bowl.

Fantasticmio, incredible pompom hat. I would like to touch it too. It makes me want to learn this double-ended hook
crochet but since I can only do the most basic crochet, I will satisfy myself by looking at your amazingly fluffly creations.

underthemountain, creative use of silverware. I like the idea to stamp words on them.

Jillybeans, it's nice of you to make kittybeds fot the Humane Society. With that many babies, these cousins will have a lot of fun growing up together. And you can get ready for many more birthday cards and cakes!
