smashu--wow--those cushions turned out very nice!  I use my electric carving knife to cut foam--it is a bear to cut that stuff! Have you tried the cut to length zippers?  I use those in upholstery since you buy them by the inch...the only problem is that they only come in beige or black...I have dyed them successfully to match or at least blend in...I found them when I was making cushions for chair and just about tore my hair out trying to squeeze the cushion into the smaller opening! GRRRRRRRR!
Thank you! I WISH I had an electric carving knife to do the job. Unfortunately I did not, but I was thinking about that a lot whilst cutting painstakingly with the knife lol

I have never heard of a cut to length zipper! I will definitely look in to that. Do they add on the slider in store or do you need special tools to do everything? I'm excited to have learned about this.. lol

Krafty_Karasu: your shoebox entry is adorable! Also.. YAY BEADWEAVING! lol

At the store, you can have the exact sizes cut--the zippers come on a huge roll and then you easily slide the zipper part on and off...when the ends are sewn, the tab part stays on...here is a link to give you an idea...I use these for anything needing a longer than normal zipper...the ones I have used for my upholstery were metal, but I see that they now have the nylon ones as well... Cheesy

So many beautiful things!  Crafty overload!

I stitched this up for a tea towel swap I was doing. The person I did it for is an excellent seamstress so I thought she would enjoy the material girl.

Finished this up at about 5AM because I couldn't sleep.

It's Shadowmere, the horse your character can get from Lucien Lachance in TES IV: Oblivion.

paperbeau, I love the book. The sheets inside are so beautiful by themselves. The bread looks delicious, I am not drooling...no, no, it's not me!  Is your starter liquid or solid? I made one liquid once but lost it when I went on vacations. I am hesitant to start again since the the first one took me three tries to get it right.

Kittykill, very neat and funny tea towel. I would not be able to use it if I had received it.

Kookalostar,  you used a beautiful batik fabric, and the bag is beautiful too. It's great that it has a zipper.

FreakieGeekie, that's a beautiful horse.
