finally finished with my challenge piece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

behold; THE SHADOWBOX BOOK!

Click the picture to see more!!!!!

most everything is stuff that I've either bought over the years or got in a swap (thank the gods for the cabochons I got from corduroy cat.  I needed something to go under the windup key with the star buttons, and I was going crazy trying to find something to put it on so the hearts would swing freely).  I need more frozen Charlottes now that I used my only one in this.  Tongue  the opening is covered by a thick piece of plexiglass (so I don't have to dust it!!!  lol).

oh, and no fabric in this either.  just throwing that out there.  Tongue

It's so pretty! You have to have lots of patience to do something so small!
I'd lose interest after an hour or two XD

ehinders---I like your steampunk candle holder. The use of metal goes well with the color of the wood. It has an appeal with it's simple lines and the glass panels.

smashu--- great job on the covers. Removable covers are a definite plus, but such a pain to make.

yofi--- I had never seen a cement goose before, only garden gnome. The goose is very cute with a cape. It must be fun to change her outfit with the seasons and holidays.

mini_mum--- I love the colors of the jumper, and the design. It almost makes me wish to have colder weather, almost ... It's great that you can craft with your son. These pompom animals are cute.

Krafty_Karasu --- Great, original, interesting...

lol.  yeah, a lot of people can't understand how I do bead weaving when the bead are so small.  compared to that, this was easy.  well, except for the cutting out of the pages and cutting of the plexiglass (I had help with the plexiglass.  NEVER doing that again).

thanks again yoopidou  Smiley

KK, I may have to learn patience and take it up one day though. One day.

Right, I haven't posted in a while due to a little new arrival taking up a lot of my time:

But I have been watching this thread and admiring everyone's projects!   I'm back again now!

I finished the February section of my sky blanket, each 2 rows is one mornings sky, and due to me being a silly photographer, it is read right to left!! This is the first time I've purled as well as knitted so I'm very proud of myself Smiley

I've also had a shimmy into sour dough bread, made my own starter and really got the bread rolling (geddit?!),

and here is my latest loaf, it has potato water and mashed potatoes in, no yeast in the recipe whatsoever (apart from that naturally cultured in my sourdough starter obviously).

I'm going to be putting up a recipe on my blog, just as soon as I've worked it out.. I sort of made this one up!

Last month I also began swapping ATCs, I have all the pics up here: http://paperbeau.weebly.com/atc-gallery.html
But for those of you who don't have the time to click through, here is a pic of my very first one:

The cards I've received have made me feel incredibly blessed. It's lovely to get suprises in the post (nice ones anyway!) and so my final craft to share is learning to make books. The larger one I'm using to display my growing ATC collection, and the smaller is created from my own handmade papers:

I'm considering making a post just for them in this months challenge entry board.. if I do I'll let you all know x

mini_mum--ok--first of all, what an adorable sweater---it is a labor of love to knit for a child since they grow so quickly!  wow!

Krafty_karasu--excellent entry!  So much to see...you did a great job mixing in so many NON-FABRIC things Wink

PaperBeau--just love your books...clever way to display ATC's as well...

Your bread making is wonderful...I love sour dough...can't wait to read more about it..

Congrats on your new family member!
