I saw your stuff in that swap!  Just love the typewriter and the use of keys on the curtain tie backs (stealing that idea for sure!)...

Let me throw in another vote for PI day, as I hope to yarn bombing for it again this year  Cheesy

sheepBlue, if you can remember any of the name, try looking on ravelry. Then you can browse by yarn or projects until you find a match.

Pi day sounds like fun! And maybe spring or garden related? March is still going to be cold, but it's close enough spring is in sight. Hmm...how about make something to brighten up your living space, inside or out? That has a lot of possibilities. I like the idea of using something you've gotten from another craftster, too.

libertine, I saw all your swap goodies and loved them, but that typewriter art is my favorite! How did you do the decorations on the bowls? They look so professional!
michelleandbean, awesome job on the doll!

I did not know you could do that...where do you buy the hair?

It was "donated" by a Barbie doll. There are 2 places called Retro Doll and Dolly Hair that sell doll hair. I've never purchased from Retro Doll, but I've heard good things. Dolly Hair has really good hair, but I hear the customer service has been lacking lately.

I like Pi Day and making something from something received from a fellow Craftster. All the Spring ones sound nice, too.

My partner in the March Odd Holidays Swap received her goodies, so I can post them here as more completed projects.

In celebration of INCREDIBLE KID DAY, "Chair aprons" to hold school supplies:

In celebration of GREAT AMERICAN MEATOUT DAY, a book safe that LOOKS like a vegetarian cookbook:

And last, in celebration of NAPPING DAY, another one of those recycled-papers notepads/journals I've been making. The cover is an antique postcard.

Here's another one of the recycled-papers notepads/journals. The cover of this one is cut from a 1950's record album sleeve.

heaps of projects for the end of month! Love the quilted placemats and the little tree stump pendant is awesome. The variety of crafts on here still amazes me...

I finally got the binding done on my WIP quilt that's been ongoing for over a year. I will get pics up over the weekend hopefully when hubby is home to hold it for me.
