I made a purse for a really cool fundraiser spearheaded by an amazing 4-year-old to raise money for the endangered Asian elephants! Her mom is on C-ster and I'm sure many of you know her!

I know that she was thrilled/touched when she found out that you were making something for the fundraiser! And it is such a super cute elephant purse!!

Oh boy - I've only just heard about this and think it's the BEST IDEA EVER, but I'm too late to donate I think. I'll have to get involved with bidding instead

Here a couple of felting samples I made yesterday:



This one started off as a square of fabric, then I added some PINK and RED (February Challenge) wool diagonally, along with a small pink circle of wool and felted it. Really didn't know what would happen with it, but love the way that it turned itself into a fish going to keep it and possibly will use it on the wall hanging.


This one was a flat piece made in the normal way, pleated it then wrapped it in cling-film and microwaved it to 'fix' the pleats.

A few years ago I made socks for pretty much everyone I know. I'm socked out. I don't think I'll ever make another pair of socks.

I have finished the backyard terraces, my back is killing me. Now, I have to put water drip and plants.

I'm going to a give movie tickets for a birthday so I made a watercolor card of the entrance of the movie theater.

I have slowly been working on my craft room with the intention that it be usable for art as well as being done in a way that it could have the rolling carts moved and the space used as a guest room and party space/lounge
I am 2/3rds done putting stuff away but the room is organized now so I can alter it in under half an hour
