we took an extra couple of days onto the Australia Day long weekend last weekend and I came back monday to 20 pages to catch up on! Waaaay too many projects to comment on, but all so awesome and I love the variety of crafts I get to see by being a part of this craftalong! You are all so inspiring, i want to make so many of the projects i've seen here.

I finished some last minute belated Christmas gifts (in the car!) for the family members we were travelling to see last weekend.

Woo! Way to go everyone! Feels like January just flew by between crafting and keeping up with the new posts by all you very talented people!
Tonight, I made jewelry for the first time in quite a while! It was for my etsy page, which hasn't been touched in about two years and boy did it feel good to be productive.
I got two pairs of earring done! First is a hoop earring wire-wrapped with glass beads.

jealous!  wire and I don't agree.  so I'm so jealous of how these turned out.  they really are pretty.

I had completed other things in January, but I didn't feel right adding them to my list.  I am working hard on the HP shadowbox, and I'm really making headway on the table I need for it.  the parts are done; two 3^1/4in. x 1^3/4in. wooden tags with the odd end cut off and glued together and wood filler filling in the space between them, then sanded for the tabletop, then four legs each made from two 5^3/4in. x 1^1/4in. cut to size.  I'm still working on the wood filler part for those.  but I'm going all out here.    it's making me very happy.

So many great projects! I love the fish cake and the wiener dog bowl! I'm also very jealous of those of you with embroidery machines, and yarn skills!

I just got back from a mini fiber festival and was "coerced" into buying two skeins of a gorgeous yarn made in Italy. I've been meaning for a while to be brave and crochet a vest or shawl for myself so this is going to be it! Wish me luck - I'll probably be stalking around for a pattern today

10 pages already! I have been knitting like crazy for the past few days.  I will be DJing 2 weeks later and I hope to finish the sweater by then. But today I covered my earbuds "atebas" style. I was going to knit an i cord but I made a few yarn wraps with this yarn and it looks beautiful wrapped. It took me like 3 hours. But I love the end result.
