Well, it seems  like I've been more productive than I have projects to show for. How does that happen?  Huh

I would like to show an apron I made for myself. Some of you may recognize the pattern from last year. I really love the shape of it and it covers me well.

I've made two of these, but the other one is for Christmas 2013. The only way I know to keep ahead of my crafting for the holidays.  Cheesy

And two pair of fleece socks for my son. He loves yellow and has sensitivity issues with his socks. In other words, he can not abide seams at the toes and will only wear hand knit ones. If he does not have hand knit socks, he will go without even in below freezing weather.

He loves these and wears them all the time. I intend to get more fleece next week to make a couple more pair. It is so awesome that I have found a solution to his needs without me taking a month to make one pair of socks for him. I made two pair in one afternoon.

And a pair of fingerless mitts from scraps. No knit or crochet ones for him until he is maybe 36? He is just so rough on them.

I need to make a brain slug!! Can someone send me to the pattern?  I think I could figure it out, but it would most likely end up whopperjawed. I know my little K would LOVE one for her birthday.  Cheesy

For the brain slug I just posted in this thread I used this free pattern.

There are so many more patterns for them though.  If your a member of Ravelry you can search there and they have a ton both knit and crochet.

My daughter is the same way! I haven't learned to make socks in crochet yet, but I never thought of making them from fleece!  You may have saved my sanity regarding the morning sock fights Ms. rottenlittleboys!!

I will have to refresh my ravelry account, I haven't been on in forever...

This thread really moves along, and everyone has been making such great stuff!

Everyone here has been sick, so poor little Lola had to go without a Birthday party. But I did make her some puppy cupcakes.  Smiley

I also decided that next year for Christmas I want to get a white tree and decorate it entirely in Adventure Time ornaments. My list of characters to make is at 75 right now! Here are my first 4.

deathbeforedishes I know there are a ton of free patterns for fleece socks out there, but I really have to recommend the Green Pepper Fleece sock pattern. There are multiple sizes you can trace and the fit is great.

Gorgeous everyone! Love love love skimming through the photos on this thread.

Of course I can tell you more about fusing plastic, although I have to say this sweety on you-tube has the best explaination for the basic method I've seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_szf1ioNy8
You can use any thickness bags, just experiment before you go onto your final thing!

Also, here is the painting I did for my sister's birthday:

It's her rabbit Willow, here she is all framed up

That rabbit is adorable! I admire anyone who can paint like that *sigh* apparently that gene skipped me because everyone else in the family can paint and draw except me.  Tongue

those ornaments look great. Lola sure looks like she enjoyed her cupcakes too. Wink

Thanks for the brain slug like Missmoppet!

Love the Adventure Time ornaments and that bunny!  I too wish I could paint/draw.  My mom and sis can, but not me.

Love the bunny painting!  Such a cute expression!

Appreciate the you tube video--I see so many possibilities...esp ecially with the green Sheetz plastic bags...

Lola looks very happy with the puppy cupcakes!  Can't believe you are so prepared and starting your Christmas ornaments already...75 of them? wow...
