I made some baby bibs earlier this week.  They are for an inlaw.

Those John Deere baby bibs would fit right in with DH's family, especially my SisIL's great-grand babies!

Only two projects done lately...

Project 9 - A bag for my Zombie Bellydance costume.  Eventually, I'd like to make bags for all my outfits so I can easily find them in the explosion of stuff that is that closet.  I do have some of them in bags, but I have to open them to see what costume it is.  Not with this one!

Project 10 - A Crocheted Dalek for a friend.  I started with
this pattern (sorry, I tried to link the original page but something is down) sent to me by a friend who asked if I could make it.  I did... sort of.  Partway through I realized I had (as usual) messed up something and mine was way too big and flared and...  You can't really tell in the pictures, but I added some plastic canvas to the sides to make it less round and put some beads on the head.

I want a gumball machine full of yarn!  Only, it has to magically refill itself...  Cheesy

Really, really love your pendant tinybits!

cute bibs!  Does anyone have or remember a link to those huge bibs with the snap up pocket?  My niece is bugging me for those--I promised them over a month ago!

Is it this? http://www.kamsnaps.com/How-to-Make-a-Mega-Baby-Bib-64.html
I was intrigued...I think my little nephew could use one so if this isn't the one you were thinking of please let me know.

Thanks for all the compliements.  I was raised on a farm-so, john deer is just farm equiptment to me.  You know, we depend on it to do farm work.  My inlaws where raised in the city so, they really love john deer as a themed things a theme for decoration purposes.  I have to admit it has always cracks me up-city folk loving farm themes to decorate.  Cheesy

The yarnball machine, i seen the idea online and knew i had to do it.  I loved our gumball machine, but candy in it-well, just sorta gets sticky and attracts creepy crawlies.  So yarn balls was a great substitute for candy.  Its a super way to display tiny yarn balls.

Know what you mean. We live in town, but my in-laws all live in the country. Many country kids grow up riding on John Deere or International Harvester tractors, driving 4-wheelers, riding horses, and hunting and fishing on their own land. I think a lot of town/city people have a romanticized view of farm/ranch life and just want to remember what they think are/were the "Simpler, Good Old Times". Just wait until I post the hunting/fishing burp cloths and bibs I'm making for some of my family! Grin

I was too, and John Deere was/is the only brand of tractors my dad uses. I married into a city family, so some of my kids have John Deere things as a nod to my dad and his profession. My sister married another farmer (majorly loves all things farm-getting a degree in bio-agriculture). So I'm going to be giving her baby a John Deere blanket (working on it right now) because her husband loves farm things so much.

I've made a few John Deere things to, when the pink came outt, we were thrilled:) , I've still have some left, but have no use for it, let me know if you could use it.

I'm 3/4 done 2 dresses, 1/2 done the third.  tomorrow I hope to finish all 3 and get my craft room tidied up for a Friday sewing session with the girls.

I also got an apron finished.
