SilverMoon I can totally relate to your situation. I have serious ADD tendencies and internet is a great distraction. This year I realized I function better if I watch favorite shows while crafting. I knit away or work on my art journal or do whatever I have at the moment while I am watching episode after episode of Vampire Diaries,  Parenthood or Elementary. That might work for you too.

Stickerchic87--- I like the colors of your dish scrubby. Does it clean like a sponge? Can you make a body scrubby to?

Haha Im not sure how it cleans...I only made it for something small to try- I've just learned crochet. Id imagine you could make it bigger and have a fun body scrubbie...might have to try it

Check my list and you'll see that many of my projects are actually wips from previous years. I think many of us fall in love with the creativity, colors, techniques, etc. of a project and start so many projects because we want to try them. At least I think that's why I get sidetracked so often. Maybe we need a blog about how to finish our projects rather than tutorials about new projects.

Suggestions for completing wips (very tongue-in-cheek):
1 - Give them to someone else to finish
2 - Turn them into dust rags
3 - Turn them into doorstops
4 - If they're biodegradable, use as garden mulch
5 - Let the dog have them as a toy

Love it kbrison!!  So true and probably this is also the reason behind our stash because you need to have the right yarn, fabric, etc. to make it!  LOL!

OK I'm taking the plunge......I've been lurking for a while after I saw a mention of craftster on another forum or website (can't for the life of me remember where though!!)

I'm really pleased with these as it is the first crochet project I've actually finished however they have stretched and are now quite loose, I may try and re-make perhaps using a tighter stitch.

Oh my baby blankie is coming along nice! The colors was leftover from another project last year so I wasn't sure how'd they behave together but I really love it.



I have left a small amount from each ball so I plan to make this blanket when I am done Or I might make this pillow Or both Can't decide
