Hey, indigo_roses, what charity is collecting the granny squares? Sounds like an interesting project!

Oh, I would like to know too.  I have some granny squares that I made last year.  I had wanted to make a blanket with them, but Im tired of granny squares.  Making them always bored me, and I just have no interest in making more or sewing them together.  I wonder though- do they have to be a certain size in order to be accepted?

So I was browsing through peoples pinterest boards and of course I see some of sheepblues AMAZING teesha moore style bags and I thought, hey, I don't think I've seen one of these in a Pirates of the Caribbean style?!?!?!   

Haha hint taken. I'll include it in my ever-growing list of themes to tackle.

Another project completed!  Whoo!  A screen print shirt for the kiddo for his birthday.

Love everything!  I usually have to go through about 5-8 pages everytime I come to check in because of all the crafty goodness.  I don't end up commenting individually, but I can tell you there hasn't been one project that I haven't said something along the lines of "that's so freakin awesome!"

I've not been too good the past few days - I call it a 'brain fart' cos it just doesn't want to work at all and I struggle to do even the simplest of things (like getting up in the morning or remembering what I'm supposed to be doing next) so going to 2 new classes today was a real struggle, but helped by knowing the venue I was going to and also knowing the tutor (same one for both).

The first one was felt making - I made a flower but haven't taken pictures yet.

The second one was ceramics and having had bus issues (missing one, next one being 15 minutes late, grrrr) I was short of time, but still managed to make this:



I didn't put wings on as wasn't sure about shape, security of them and I wasn't confident I could do them properly, and obviously it needs firing and glazing, but couldn't wait to share
