Hello SenatorOrgana!  Nice to see another bellydance person!  Cheesy

Love the plushie - learning to sew dolls was on my list of things to do, but it's fallen off since I probably need to get my WIPs in hand before I tackle something new.... hahahahaha...  yeah, it's nice to dream!

All the Dr Who scarves are inspiring!  I have the pattern, and the yarn, to make one, I just haven't started.  I do like the idea of a project that's just knit knit knit knit knit so I can watch movies and stuff, but the sheer size of it has always made me pause.  But it's time to start that bad boy!

I've started project #9, but I'm afraid I'm going to run out of yarn.  :/  And it was an unlabeled stash yarn, so...  bummer...

My husband was messing around on Netflix the other night and watching just a few minutes of each new season (of the old ones) of Dr. Who, just to see how much they changed as time went on.

I happened to glance at the tv, and I practically shouted. "That's the scarf." Ha, I finally saw it on the doctor.

That is one of my goals this year! However, except for a pair of socks that I started in late December, that hasn't happened yet. Oh well, it's still early in the year!

So, here's some new stuff that I've made instead of working on my WIPs.  Roll Eyes

12 6" granny squares to be donated to charity (4 squares = 1 project)

I've had this project done for a while, but just finally got it hung up!

My parents had this old wooden shelf in their basement, so I very happily took it off their hands!
With the help of my dad, I added some hooks to the underside and then I brought it home and painted it to match my bathroom. The stripes are a bit wonky, but I love it still!
This will be super helpful, since my bathroom only has underneath the tiny sink for storage space, and all my hair products and makeup are always getting knocked into the sink bowl.

Thanks for the plushie comments everybody -- my son actually sketched the (very cheery!) face ... He's going to give it as a gift.

I want that striped shelf for my (gray and black) bathroom! So cool.

The scarf is pretty awesome, but I'd better NOT have one of those. Too clumsy. I'd probably step on the end of it and choke myself!  Cheesy

Hey, indigo_roses, what charity is collecting the granny squares? Sounds like an interesting project!

Mama24boyz, I just noticed your signature and saw that you did over a hundred projects last year. WOW! Amazing!

Indigo - love that handspun yarn! Just attended a fiber show this weekend and bought some handspun. Feels so soft and smells so good that I may never use it - just hoard it forever!!

I finally finished my first project of the year!

It was relatively quick to crochet (and I was stuck in bed yesterday with a kidney infection  Embarrassed) but I finally have my first project done!

Also, although I don't post much, I am loving looking at the amazing projects everyone posts! And all the Doctor Who goodies are inspiring me to work on my own WIP scarf.  Cheesy
