The afghan is gorgeous---I am so envious of your yarn...the colors are gorgeous!  Those socks are coming right along!

I know I said I was done with knitting socks after I made ONE sock, but, yeah, I got yarn for another pair...

Welcome newbie member LadyPhoenixRising!  Your list is awesome and some items are so "borrowable" .

ED--on the paper boards, there is a whole thread devoted to making ATC's, hints, tips, etc.  I use paper modge podge...some people complain because of the stickiness, but I use a fine grade sandpaper or wax paper to take down the stickiness...sandpa per gives a duller surface, wax paper shines it up!

alwaysinmyroom thanks! and yes i keep saying the same thing that I don't like sock knitting but I keep buying sock yarn and knitting them for others.

I finished my first project! 49 more to go! I stitched up a cowl for myself. Now, I do not know how to crochet but I had this yarn and a needle so I winged it. I'm really happy with it and my neck is extra warm!

Very pretty start for your list!  I can't believe you just winged it!  Good for you!  The cowl is very pretty and now, you can add more crochet things to your list!

deathbeforedishes-Thanks for the Dr. Who information.  It sounds interesting.  I will have to check out.  I could totally watch it and work on my knitting.  

tinybits-I definantly want to make Twilight items.  I love bellas striped green/cream beanie.  And those mittens!  Oh mercy me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the mittens.  Course, Im not sure when i will actually start making them.  You know, 50 projects in 2013.  I do have a pattern saved on Ravelry for both of the items.  Hmmmm....if you start a thread for Twilight projects, it might would motivate me to start on them.  Besides-its winter and although its too warm him for bellas mittens-my mom could use them in her area-she can walk to the post office and her her hands toasty warm in them.

And my crafting progress for this thread.  Working on arm length armwarmers for my sister.  Shes almost worn out the ones i made her xmas of 2011.  I wanted to have these made for xmas 2012 but, i was so swamped with making gifts I decided to wait and start making them this week.  Also, in process of making some doggy toys-for the ows 90 swap.  I have found a pattern for a cute little deer amigurumi.  My brother-in-law and his wife are expecting a baby mid next year.  So, thats another project I want to do early too.

Loving all yarnie goodness everyone is posting! Speaking of which, I finally gathered up all the granny squares I'd made previously and have started crocheting them together to finish Maddy's blanket. I might need to do some more squares. It's looking pretty small as I first started it right after she was born 2 1/2 years ago now!    I'm actually hoping to finish it by next week.

 Other than that, haven't crafted much in the new year. I'm working on some items for swap partners right now as well.
