Wow, quaggy, big project! Congrats! Seems like you did a speedy job of it (or maybe I'm just slow -- it would have taken me at least twice as long!)

And yes, that beard is really cool! I made a yarn beard for my son many years ago for a costume, but it wasn't anywhere near as splendiferous!

I finished two winter-themed wreaths for me (one for office, one for home). I'd made some yarn-wrapped wreaths as Christmas gifts for relatives this year, but really wanted one myself, too. They are made from all kinds of snips and scraps from my craft stash, as well as recycled wool sweaters.

2 down, 48 to go!

I love love love the ivory one,  hmmmm this might just inspire me.
I am not a knitter or crocheter.....the yarn that you used is a textured bumpy yarn?  Correct, I love the look of it!  Fantastic job!

Not quick at all, I started the day before New Years Eve and worked about 16 hours a day.  I have been on a two week vacation and always start out the new year with a big project. I painted out the Old Year and in  the New Year!

Well, it seems speedy to me (I could never work on it for 16 hours a day, so it would take me twice as many days!!!  Cheesy)

Yes, the yarn is very thick and bumpy. It was on sale 50% off at my local Michael's. I think it was called "Country Loom Loops and Threads". And the little snowbird was a Christmas ornament that was on sale for 80% off!

Thanks for the info!   It is just beautiful!!!  I love that there is no accent color which is usually not my taste but this is perfect.  Great deal on the bird!!!!

Charity blanket #3 - still playing with colour... this one is ok; it reminds me of superheroes!

very cool though. I love that pattern - where did you get it?

Here it is: http://pamapaloza.blogspot.ca/2010/02/i-hate-changing-colors-so-much-i-did.html

Thank you - might have to add this to my list.

My first finished project of 2013!  And guess what...  Its the same project I finished at the beginning of 2012.

I started this right after Christmas so its a carry over from 2012.  I think its just the time of year.  I always end up doing scarves over the Christmas Holiday.  I'm working on another scrap scarf right now too because I have teachers fighting over who gets the finished one right now.  Roll Eyes
