I just absolutely love it - the look of stripes without all the ends to weave in!  And two balls of Homespun will make a decent-sized baby blanket. ^_^

How big are these lovely spiral blankets you are cranking out at an envy inducing speed? 

I haven't measured these ones, but generally these turn out to be about 3' across (maybe a touch smaller, depending on the colourway).

Yeah!  I finished 2 projects from my list.  a screen print shirt for dear hubby and one for the kiddo.  I will post pictures later though.  Im very happy how they turned out-especially since it was my first and second attempt at screen printing.

OK officially done repainting and tiling the den.  Need to add to the walls but not sure yet how I am going to decorate.
I only took a few pictures before and during the transformation  
Here is a list of what was done:  I had to work in fourths and move evrything around the room as I painted and tiled in sections so I could slide the furniture around on towels.
1. Old sewing machine base was painted green, cleaned and re painted it.
2. Tile was 12 inch square green marble vinyl tile...... now shades of cream and Lt brown 18 inch vinyl tiles.
3. Walls where off white......repainte d a Lt cocoa.
4. Trim was a sage green.....repainted it an off white
5. I did have a jungle theme......all marked and packed for a garage sale.
5. Alabaster mini blinds......changed to cinnamon bamboo.
5. I have plans to sale all my curios in the cabinets, charming tails and a few Boyd's bears just to much clutter.
6. Vintage games dusted organized and stacked inside an antique wardrobe and on a vintage school desk.




















I have moved my back up sewing machine it is headed to the repair shop and BF sat it in what he thought was an out of the way place. Need to find a new desk chair, and make a mat for under the slot machine not a bath towel and to think this room is never used.

Have you tried Ravelry? Knitting or crochet?

Volga Viking Hat and Beard (crochet)
Dwarven Battle Bonnet (knit)

Of course, you could use any beard tute, and any hat/helmet pattern and just sew them together - I don't think any of them are made in one piece. That would open up a lot more crochet options to you too.
