That is a good project--what is inside?  I think my dog would carry them off, though...he thinks everything is his toy...

k-star is on an organization roll!  Nice way to pretty up containers!


 Also, here is an idea:  I bought one of those picnic silverware carriers and put soup cans in them...then I organized my pens, pencils, etc.  It has a handle so you can carry it around from one workspace to another...I love it

The inside is 2 lbs of black eyed peas. 1 lb would have worked, but I wanted it to look fuller and not so droopy.

I suggest microwaving it every month, especially in the summer...beans and bugs...ick...but, black-eyed peas mean good luck, so that is a plus!!

Oh really? Ick. I didnt know about that! I wonder if the same thing happens with rice? How long do you microwave it for?

I have no idea how bugs would get in, but I hear using dried grains and beans can get buggy...even 30 seconds would kill insects...poof!

The organisation is a "needs must" project. I lost my craft room to my son coming home, then he left again and hubby and I moved into the smaller room so I could have a big craft space, now he is coming home again as the house he's been sharing is being foreclosed on. The lads have been paying their rent but the landlord ( a so called friend of theirs) hasn't been paying the mortgage! I told him this time he has to share with my craft stuff, since we moved into the smaller bedroom I don't have room for it in there. Oh for a 3 bed house....
