I made these today:

I was completely taken by these two colours in the balls, but I intensely dislike the end result... according to my fiance, that's nuts. Tongue

I like this one much better!

I'm switching over to a more long term project (or two!) now, so this might be it for today. ^_^

It's Lion Brand Homespun.

The first blanket was Seafoam and Parfait colours and the second one was Tumbleweed and an unlabeled ball I had kicking around (definitely Homespun, just not sure on the colourway)

I've always wanted to do one of these in the past but have avoided them due to my long work hours.  However, at the end of May I will be becoming a stay at home mom (yea!) and think that this will help get projects out of my craft room and into the world much faster.  Without further ado, here is my list in no particular order, with more to come down the road when inspiration hits:

1. Mario Afghan
2. Angry Birds Afghan
3. Perry the Platypus Quilt
4. Dr. Who Scarf
5. Hubby's Patriots Socks
6. Hubby's Black & Cameo Socks
7. My Packers socks
8. Roger's Jersey Christmas Ornament (us)
9. Roger's Jersey Christmas Ornament (parents)
10. Hubby's Xmas Ornament for 2013

12. Chuggington ispy bag
13. Mario Brothers ispy bag
14. Toy Story ispy bag
15. Star Wars ispy bag
16. Packers/Patriots fleece blanket
17. Nail/Thread Art: MI

19. Nail/Tread Art: MA
20. Met-Engaged-Married Art/Picture frame

Well.  50 projects in a year is almost one a week.  I probably can't make one thing a week, I have school and recitals and such.  But I shall do my best. Cheesy

So anyways.  Just so you-all know, some are going to be mimics of what I've seen elsewhere, but simply must have for myself.  And so I shall make them.  Also, I like plastering my walls with movie and book stuffs, thus the contents of half my list.  It's not because I lack inspiration, or anything.

50 Projects:
(In no particular order, of course)

1.     Stuffed Toothless <3 (wip)
2.     Embroidered LOTR map
3.     Knitted Piano (Pattern is crocheted, so we shall see....)
4.     Thorin's Poem wall hanging -starts singing- "far overrr the Misty Mountains coldddd..." Wink
5.     A real actual sweater for people, knitted.
6.     A real actual blanket.
7.     Art Of Music Wall Hanging (Google "Art Of Music." It's lovely)
8.     Illusion Baby Blanket (design TBA)
9.     Knitted Gloves (wip)
10.   Finish Knitted Duvemala farm (bonus points if you know this place) (wip)
13.   Lifebook 2013 (Or what's-it-called, the fabulous 3D journal)
14.   Knitted Creeper (They be spawnin' in my house and blowin' up my sheeps!)
15.   Men's Button-shirt to a short-sleeved lady-shirt.
16.   Go Yarn-bombing (And make it into the paper, hopefully)
17.   Coin ring
18.   Chain Mail necklace
19.   Chain Mail bracelet
20.   Various Knitted Gnome Keychains
21.   Knitted lacy shrug
22.   Design my 2013 School Binder  (2012's was a Hobbit door, and it disintegrated....)
23.   Dissected Frog, and framed.  Knitted, no worries.
24.   Learn Woodburning (but maybe it's not legal in a dorm, sigh)
25.   Knitted Socks
27.   Masquerade ball mask
28.   Bridesmaid gown
29.   1800s Ballgown
30.   Friend Magnetic Door Tile
31.   Join and Complete a Swap, Woo!
32.  Cross-stitched tablecloth  (wip)
33.  Cross-stitched napkins
34.  Cross-stitched Bible verse
35.  Reupholser some random furniture, for kicks.
36.  Sew a Blazer
37.  Old-fashioned doll with painted face
38.  Nightgown for said doll
39.  Day-gown for said doll.
40.  Hobbit door Poster
41.  Iocane Poster, Inconceivable!
42.  Men's button-shirt to a longer-sleeved lady's button-shirt

-Work in Progress-
9.     Knitted Gloves  <---I made two rights or else I would have finished them last week.  Sigh.
10.   Knitted Duvemala
32.  Cross-stitched tablecloth

-Completed-
1.  Stuffed Toothless

3.  Kitted Piano (pictures to come, it's faaabulous)
15.   Men's Button-shirt to a short-sleeved lady-shirt

22.   2013 School Binder

29.   1800s Ballgown

30.   Friend Magnetic Door Tile (I have no picture though.  It's the LOTR "Speak Friend and Enter," in case you were wondering)
36.  Sew a Blazer

37.  Old-fashioned doll with painted face

38.  Nightgown for said doll (She's wearing it silly.  Also I sewed it by hand folks.  All those gathers)
40.  Hobbit door Poster

41.  Iocane Poster

42.  Men's button-shirt to a longer-sleeved lady's button-shirt

And I'll probably add and change things as I see other projects I simply...must have.  Or, you know, if school gets tough and such.

Forteisbest - there are two good ways to keep track of your list - one is to go to the first page of this craft-along (Alwaysinmyroom puts a link to each of our lists there). The other is to put a link to it in your signature line. There may be a better way to do this but this is how I did it: click on the "Re: 50 Projects 2013--You Know You Can Do It! Join here and post your lists !" above your list then copy the url in the address bar - that links directly to your list. Add it to your signature (by going to the "my craftster"  in the yellow bar then the "my profile" in the blue pop-up bar then click on the "forum profile information" under "Modify Profile" on the left of the page).
