Krafty_Karasu - are those coins in that jewelry that are punched out? That's neat!

yes!  they are 2 Arizona state quarters (if there wasn't such a bad flash on the top quarter, you would be able to see "Arizona" at the top) that the creator of the original necklace must have cut out.  Grin

endymion: That notebook made out of the sex recordings instruction book is awesome! I write the sex advice column for me college and I hoard things like that, since they make me smile. Cheesy

I think I found that record about 20 years ago at the Salvation Army (so, see -- I hoard them, too!) It's the cardboard record album cover--if there was a booklet with it, it was long gone. At the time I bought that album, I had a record player and listened to the record -- it actually seemed "ahead of its time" in many ways. The parent-child conversations depicted were still pretty hilarious! At the time, I was a health educator and did some presentations on sex education.

I made a quilted overnight bag, a cat toy, and I tried a new recipe(bacon ranch mac and cheese).  The cat toy is a pink stuffed heart (it kind of looks like a mitten) attached to a long piece of felt wich is atached to a stick. The little pink heart has catnip in it. Right now the cats are licking it. Lol

So I just realized I hadn't posted pics here yet, so here are my 4 projects completed in January.  I'm just going to post thumbnails since its a few at once so click for a larger pic if you would like.

Metled bead sucaters, insired by this blog post http://www.artfulparent.com/2012/07/melted-bead-suncatcher-diy-baby-mobile.html (I am pretty sure I've seen this multiple places so if anyone knows the original source please let me know and I'll give credit)

A doily dream catcher ('ve seen these EVERYWHERE! so again if anyone knows the original source please let me know and I'll give credit). Sorry for the bad pic I couldn't ever get a good pic.

The 2 prayer flags I made for my partners for the prayer flag swap.

More info, if you would like some on these two, can be found in my post here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=420213.0

Everyone is keeping busy I see. The storm kept me home all weekend so I now have my mothers shawl half finished. I am hoping to get it done this week. Fingers crossed.
