I made matching scarves for my girls for Christmas.

And a scarf for the gift exchange at work.

I am hoping to make a scarf for myself one day. Wink

Here are some joint projects cooked up by me, my mom, and sister (together on all)
Ranger Cookies

Ginger Snaps and Pecan Pie Minis

The turtles and Ranger Cookies have become a tradition over the past three years. The ginger snaps and mini pies are a new thing but we always make pecan pies.

Okay, probably one more post after this, then on to next year!  I still have a list a mile long, but the good news (for me, anyway) is that there are more things on the "for me" list than there are on the "I owe other people" list.  I also got a 1" button maker for Christmas, so... I'll have to try that out soon!

(And even though I told myself I was going to buckle down on my time off and get a lot of UFOs done, I started a new Ami out of a book I got from Christmas today.  C'mon, it was a brand new book!  I had to! But after this, the "you must finish" rule is going into effect.  And I mean it.)

170. Dragon Zill Case - he was meant as a present, but I bonded with him because of the little yarn defect in his nose.  He's mine now...

171. Squid!  Made for a friend, in transit now, across the ocean to lands far, far away!

172. Dragon Zill Case made to replace the one I couldn't part with...

173. Hat - made for a lady who was turning 103 in one of nursing homes we perform at.  She was really touched we all sang happy birthday to her, it was nice!  Knitting the hat with a week's notice, on the other hand...

174. I don't normally include baking in my crafts, because I do it most weekends (I normally make at least two types of cookies when we play D&D for the group) but this was a marathon baking session and I think it deserves a place in the list!  Pork and Beans Bread, Cottage Cheese Cookies, Rice Krispie Treats, Chocolate Mallow Bars, Brownies, Pumpkin Cookies, and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.

175. Colored Pencil Monster drawing.

176. Another colored pencil monster drawing... this one looks more vibrant in person, the pink really doesn't photograph well!

177-180. Candy Cane Jane outfit - this is the only picture I could fine that showed the whole thing, sorry about that!  I think a friend took some posed ones, but we didn't have time to share pictures as it was sleeting when we finished and we all wanted to get home before the roads turned into an ice rink.  I did not finish the bra I was trying to make, so wore one that a friend bought me, but I made the vest, the white lace shrug, the skirt, and the tassel belt.  The candy cane was made for me by a friend, he bent PVC pipe and I wound red duct tape around it!

I had dreams of getting to 200 projects, and with a week off I might, since I have SO MANY things I've started that probably only need an hour more work, but we'll see.  I might also want to just melt into a puddle and do nothing...

This is the ornament that I finished today.  Wanted to see how long it took me start to finish (the answer was 3.5 hours).

HERE is the link to 9 more hoops I've made and given away to friends and family for Christmas this year.  Cheesy

Merry Christmas everyone!

You guys are the best!!! Boy, am I going to have my work cut out getting the Nov-Dec drawing done timely (hahahahah--like that is going to happen....)...anyway, wow--what a huge amount of flurry on this thread!

The goodies are killing me as I have started my year of healthy early... Sad Grin.

I love the ruffled totes...and the crochet scarves...I also got some new crafting books and already started thumbing thru for some projects for 2014!  I'll set up the new thread this afternoon but it will be locked until ... oh heck...I'll just open it for you early birds biting at the bit!!!! Grin

I still have it in mind to finish off a lot more before Dec 31...look out for a slew of pictures...that is the hardest part for me!

I destashed a lot of sweaters, finished a few things, and made quick projects as last minute gifts...what a busy year!

I have some new ideas for next year...I hope to focus some of this creative energy for us to make things for ourselves!!! Grin
