Right now, I am organizing my WIPS so that I can get a bunch done before next year...it would be nice to start the year fresh...

Do we want to continue this next year or should we shorten it to 25 projects? Grin

I don't even want to think about my WIP pile...  I'm so easily distracted I start two projects for every one I finish, it seems!  And if you count things I have the supplies for as well as things I've actually started...

The only way it seems I finish things is if there's an actual deadline (costumes) or if it's for someone else.

I definitely want this craftalong again!  I don't think it matters what the "goal" number is, it's just nice to have a place to post and organize all my projects.

I like the bows!  I just bought some of the Decor Mesh this weekend to try my hand at making some of those pretty mesh wreaths I keep seeing

The weekender bag is terrific!  I love the fabrics and using laminate is such a great idea but I bet it was tough to work with!

I see that kind of ribbon everywhere...always wondered what to do with it...nice bows...they are quite festive...do you want them in October or November since the theme is being carried forward? Grin

Smeddley--you are so right...the count does not matter...it is nice to see such a variety in one spot...I print my list each year and put it in a notebook...when people ask me what I did all year, I can show them, so there! Grin

Continue, please. I definitely need the motivation of this craftalong. 50 projects is a lot, but making the bar that high is the only way I can convince myself to get busy. Otherwise I'd just sit around reading books and eating chocolate. Not that that's a terrible thing, but I am diabetic so I shouldn't have the candy and I do already read several books each week. Grin

Lovely bows,Kookaloo, very festive. And what a lovely bag, Cursive Queen - I still have to try my hand on this bag, it intimidates me  Cheesy.
And please, Allways, it would be lovely to have '50 projects' next year, too. I am nowhere near 50, but it is good for me to be held on my toes! Cool

That weekended bag looks so professional!
And I love all the snowflakes-what are you going to do with them?
yay for multipurpose bows!
I also am curious about what you'll do,always.
I say keep it 50. I may not get there, but it's something to shoot for.

Silvermoon, I love your stained glass hat. If I lived in the cold, I would want a stained glass sweater. That's such a cool pattern.

UTM, it's great you craft ethnic stuff with your daughter.

Smeddley, incredible dance costume, with many details and very well fitted! Did you again made them for most of your troupe?

CursiveQueen, impressive bag. It is so neatly sewn and very useful too.

KK, lovely festive bows. I like that it's a quick and easy craft too. I might reuse your idea.

That1girl, your snowflakes are adorable. When I saw the last picture, I thought they were many panties with strings on the side!  Grin I was just coming back from a long run and I must have been too tired. These are great panties drawstring bags with cute fabrics.

Alwaysinmyroom, I am in favor of keeping the 50 projects too.

+1 this ^

I think actually that 52 is a better goal number than 50, because with 52, you instantly make the connection 'oh, it's only one project a week' but 50 is 'just a big number' if you know what I mean? 50 being so round, people might not make the connection of one a week with two weeks off.

I don't think it makes a terrible lot of difference though, most people seem to make what they need to/were going to make anyway, and just keep track of them here, so the numbers aren't important.
