My swap partner just posted the pics (I forgot to take any myself).. a self-designed purse/bag with ideas taken from 6 different online purse pictures, and some of my own ideas.

All the Halloweeny stuff is so great!

I had a swap package delivered to its recipient so I can share now  Grin

It's a little natural assemblage I made, and I have fallen in love with natural stick weaving!! It just looks so organic and lovely.

I finally got around to making new cloths for my flat mop. I used microfibre cloths and some cotton scraps. I made 5 in total, I guess I ought to mop the kitchen floor now then....

Loving your assemblage art SheepBlue, if I tried it would just look like sticks and string  Sad

Just made this super quick top. the third pic is to show the pattern on the fabric and the way it changes from brown to black partway through. The fabric was free in a bag of scraps I was given a while ago.
Here is a tutorial link in case you want to see what it looks like in a better pic or to make one for yourself  Wink

I like how it fits and how it feels so I'm going to make a slightly shorter in white to wear to work.

aaaaand another update. My white version. You can see my tattoos through it so I might need to wear a cami under it for work but I do like it despite it being white. When I no longer need to wear it for work I will dye it a colour I do like! I'm looking forward to getting the not-very-nice striped work shirt simply because I can't stand wearing white  Roll Eyes

well, I've been up since about 5:30pm October 11th.  I stayed up late, slept late, but now sleep sounds boring.  I got really involved in my game playthroughs on YouTube and trying to work on a bead pattern.  about 4 hours ago, I got a great idea for the decorative part of my pattern and I started working feverishly on it.  now I plan on working a little more on the details of the pattern.  almost time to start beading my mask!!!  Grin Grin Grin

Finished several wips that count for this month's challenge.

Challenge #5 - crafting for charity  I cut out these pillowcases last year and began stitching them, but finally got back to working on them and completing them this month. Their destination is a charity called Conkerr Cancer. It works with children fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The pillowcases are meant to cheer the kids and make their hospital stays a little less frightening. I chose fabrics that were boy friendly or gender neutral, since it seems so many of the pillowcases I've seen have been feminine or more adult in style. These are baseball, hockey, horses, Bugs Bunny, trees, and nursery rhyme themes.

Challenge #7 - wip  I crocheted most of this bag last year, but finally added the handles and ribbon this week.

Wow, a few days without checking this thread and so many new projects to admire.

Bookstorebabe, your tray might be simple but it showcases your keys very well.

QueenNinjaMonkey, what are you doing with your creepy cute ornaments? Hanging them on a tree? a mobile? They all look great anyway.

EclecticDreamer, that's a lovely bag with many pockets. Can there be too many pockets? No!

Sheepblue, your nature assemblage has a peaceful feeling to it.

Kookaloo-Star, I love your new cloths for your flat mop. I need to still your idea!

Kbrison, great choice of fabric for your pillowcases.
