Bushbaby - love the beading, but I swear I'd go blind if I tried to do it!  Wink

Fantasicmio - my brother ran track, so I recognized the track complete with starting blocks immediately. Took me longer to identify the two long jumps with their sand pits, since he didn't compete in that event. Think your niece will be one lucky girl to get that blanket.

Bookstorebabe - may have to track down some old bangle bracelets to make gifts for my nieces and great nieces. Love the look and being able to use up old beads and trinkets as well as leftover floss. Nice job and thanks for the instructions.

.....
And yes, the hearts are nifty! I can see giving one to someone to carry in their pocket, and they'd always have a hug from you....

Thats exactly what I was thinking when I made them! They are to be surprise gifts for some people I know  Grin

Kookaloo_Starr, that's a very lovely heart. Your fabrics really go well together.

Bookstorebabe, I would not have guessed these bangle bracelets were made from recycled stuff. They are just fun.

Fantasticmio, I did not recognize anything, field or jumping box, but now that you said it, I can see it clearly. Your niece should be very happy with such a personalized gift.

Bushbaby, the beaded scissors' case must have required a lot of patience. It must shine in the light.

Hey guys, so I know I'm late in joining but I've always wanted to join but I never seem to catch it when it first starts!
Anyways, I've finished a bunch of crafts this year, but I don't remember/don't have them so I can't list them. I can list what I still need to make and finish though so here goes..

1) old-in-a-box(this is suppose to be a birthday present from me and a friend. Not sure if she's still gonna be in, if not I won't be doing this)
2) something hunger games/catching fire themed. any suggestions besides cupcakes/cookies?
3) finish my game board
4) make zombie cupcakes
5) make zombie cookies
6) make christmas cards for fam & friends
7) make cards for mom to send
Cool make gift card/money holder cards for mom
9) finish crochet monkey

that's all I can think of so far. Did I list things right?

Butterflyangel - There's no right or wrong way to list your projects. Check some of our lists and you'll see how very different they can be. Some of us just list our completed projects, some list our WIPs or planned projects, then update our lists as we finish things. Some of us include our swap projects, some of us don't. Some of us post thumbnail photos on our lists, some post on other boards, then put a hyperlink, some just put a photo in their most current reply. Again, whatever works for you is fine.

As for missing the sign-up, check late December or anytime in January to get in at the beginning. But this is a craftalong that you can join at any point unlike swaps that have a definite time frame. There's no pressure to meet someone else's requests, get something sent before a deadline, or any of the issues that are common to swaps. Just do what you want, when you want, then show us so we can "ooh" and "ahh" over what you've accomplished. Grin

That1girl - your sweater is awesome!  Great job!

I've been MIA for a bit with the start of school.  At least, I feel like I've been MIA.  Trying to get back into the swing of it.  I've completed 41 projects!  whoo hoo!  So 9 more to go before New Year's!  I can do this!  Especially once we include Christmas presents!

Great sweater, That1girl. It looks very comfy, although the cat seems to disagree. Wink
