I actually made something recently that was NOT a swap item, two acorn pincushions.

I got a couple small things done. I've mostly been working on swap stuuf and a Super Mario quilt for my son.

I made a red, white and blue bundt cake

I also decorated a shirt with Sharpies and alcohol, but I got carried away with spraying the alcohol.  Roll Eyes

I bought a frame to make a coin purse, but I don't have fabric as cool as that typewriter fabric... or a pattern...  (why do I buy so many supplies?!)

Here is where I got the pattern for mine. I dont know what size frame you have, but this is for a 5" I think. I also ended up having to add 1/4" all the way around. If you type in "coin purse tutorial" into Pinterest (or Google), there are quite a few that even show you how to make your own pattern.

Wow, some more amazing projects posted up here.

I'm loving them all.

Today, I have finished the dress of doom.  It shouldn't be this complicated but I just couldn't *get* the instructions on the pattern.

Anyway, there it is modelled as always, by the lovely Elsa.  Mess as always in the background!!

Oh and I didn't  make this, but I have given much love to:

awesome projects all!!

I've been getting ready for a craft fair, but today I got it in my head to make something for Lana's upcoming picnic this Wed with her chorus so I whipped this up today.  It's just a simple freezer paper stencil, but it made me happy.
