alwaysinmyroom the pattern is from a book sew serendipity it comes with the pattern pieces and how to change each item in different ways. I want to get another of there books

I love that you infuse old things into new, practical things...that bench re-make is a good idea!

lol that1girl--I actually have that book... I love that each piece can be made so differently!  Now that I see your skirt, I might try making something from it!

CHALLENGE ENTRY!
Ha! I did finish it! Hurray  Grin Grin. I have been working on it since the beginning of January, and it is a graduation gift for my lovely niece. I did the last stitch yesterday, and we are going to give it to her to morrow. The top is hand sewn, and it is machine-quilted. (Most of it is from stash, except the green and purple).

Who knew something(s) so little could take so much time?  They only take about an hour apiece, but with 13 of each that's 26 hours of hard crafting... hard on the hands... especially with painting the basement, as well.  I tried to rationalize that as a "craft", but couldn't, really...  I mean, it's painting, but...

I have more, but I need to get some pictures taken...  and I need to keep up better with this thread - every time I look it's a million more pages of projects!  Too many ideas, too many more things I want to do!  (Though my to-do list is now under 30!)
