ok I just need to say that I'm in again this year, I just need to find some time to sit at the computer and post my list. I tried doing it on my phone but it really was too hard!

I have however finished 2 items, but being a true craftster I was making up to the point of having to get ready and leave so I forgot pics. I have however asked my aunty to snap some for me and send to me. I made an apron for my aunty's new wife in her fave colours (and I must have found tge most time consuming pattern online!) and for my aunty I finished a set of fabeic/felt coasters that I started last year for her birthday but didn't get done so I have now finished them for a belated Christmas. So once I have photos I will have an entry to the Jan challenge!

here is the pic of my last minute gifts. My aunty isn't the crafty type and I didn't give specific instructions, so they aren't the best for seeing the pieces, but I can't complain since I forgot to take them!


the apron was in Lisa's fave colours and the coasters (which you can't really see at all) were made from white felt scraps at the bottom and some precut fabric squares I inherited from my gran. Finally found a use for some more of them. I trimmed the top with some purple grosgrain ribbon. As I said in my earlier post, I started these coasters last year for my aunty's bday but didn't get them done in time, so they got left and at the last minute I decided the last three should have their ribbon attached! So glad to have a WIP out of my "started" box!

How's everyone getting on - I finished a book! picture! (edit: wow I must have been tired when I wrote this, what is a book frame anyway!) frame yesterday, this is a HUGE DEAL for me - actually finishing! I think that starting the blog has a lot to do with it, because I want things to post about so I've finished a project and a blog post. V. Successful week

Yay!  Finished something for me for the challenge and got a few others done for my craft fair.  The large watch finding I used is especially beautiful (love the beveled edges and the nice bright rubies!!)
