Yay, I have made my first mug rug for the swap.  Will post when my partner receives.

This was all new practices, so I am pleased with the outcome.  Hope my partner will like it.  Undecided

Of course your partner will like it - you worked hard on it with her (him?) in mind! Smiley

Thank you, I get so nervous when I make for others, (I don't do it often).

Now, I am trying to decide what to create next.

Ok, swords, shields, battle axes and belt daggers for the little knights at the Renaissance Faire that we will be attending next month.

You make me wish I had a Renaissance fair close by!
They are all great but I would choose the axe.

Mr.Fantastic and I built this today.  Does it count as a finished project, or should I fill it with yarn first? Grin

Wow!!  That looks fabulous!  I should try to build furniture sometime.  It's got to be rewarding when you fill it up, then look at it and say "I built that."  Nice work.

That's exactly what I want for yarn storage, only I don't yet have enough yarn to justify one that big (or the space in the house to put it  Roll Eyes ) - I need it shrunk, because I need at least 20 shelves though... please tell me you are going to sort your yarn by colour like I want to, so I can live vicariously through you and your rainbow yarn wall?
