Oh my goodness girls, I just put two tablespoons of my home made blood orange marmalade into my basic cookie dough................
Needless to say I'm going to be sitting here dunking in milk for quite some time...
May I drop in for a visit? Those cookies sound scrumptious!

SheepBlue - telling you to slow down your crafting would be like telling the sun not to rise, but I do hope you're taking good care of your wrist. Don't want you sidelined from crafting!!!

Gourds are super easy to plant, they are a vine that loves to climb, you can find birdhouse gourd seeds in many stores, thin out the extra gourds to get fewer larger gourds

Thank you for the information.  I shall be looking for gourd seeds and trying to find space in my garden for them.

I made a walker Apron today, Tuesday is the big day and they want me to bring my own walker when i go in to get my right knee replaced so since I haven't had time to decorate it as much as I want I bought a few packs of these rose stickers and some dimensional silverish star burst stickers and used those

So we went and bought a 12" piece of celestial quilting calico and I used a cheap red pillow case for liner and black extra wide bias tape for ties and made these pockets for in front of my walker, I used red glitter puffy paint for accents

I am probably going to be too out of it to create much but I am taking my Markers and some pencils and hope to do some journaling in my 6x6" journal, I have a sketch pad that size so instead of taking the album I will take the little pad and maybe do some doodleing

Good luck, Trina!!  At least your walker will be styling!

love the bunny mug rug...

not sure if I commented on your gourds, pinokeeo--they are really nice and I love your practicality...I have a gourd bowl but it serves no function because it was carved up so much that it holds nothing...I just don't have room for pretty sit around things anymore... Sad

Trina, Good luck with your surgery! Like how you repurposed the pillowcase to meet an alternate need. Clever thinking!

Good luck, Trina! And that is a great walker bag. Hope everything goes smoothly and you have a speedy recovery.

Trinalocakary,  I like your idea to personalize your walker. That's a cute walker apron, and useful too! Maybe you will get other patients interested in buying some from you.  Wink
