So - I've almost finished the witch's hat!  yay Spring Break!  Cheesy  I have to pick up the bailing wire to finish off the brim tomorrow on my way to rehearsal.

We spent some time cleaning/organizing the craft room this week and I found a bag of yellow yarn in my stash.  Its school bus yellow with a rainbow strand plied in it.  I started a triangular shawl with it today.  Don't know if I'll get it done before the end of April though.  Does it still count if its in progress?  I'll try to remember to post pictures!  Cheesy

I finally updated my list...and I only have one project checked off!  Cry Although there are several "monthly" projects that I have completed and updated, and I didn't list all of the nerdwars (Ravelry) projects I've completed, just the ones that are meaningful/I was going to make anyway. I've probably forgotten something, too.

This year has been SO BUSY so far because dh is taking a full load of college courses and working full time as well, plus I work full time, which leaves me doing all the cooking/cleaning/etc and both of us completely exhausted...I am happy when I get six hours of sleep! So I'm just amazed when I manage to get anything done at all! And now it looks like we get less than two weeks "off" in-between spring and summer semesters, ugh.

My favorite single project so far is my mermaid gloves, which were on my to-do list for about five years. Here's the Ravelry Project page Apologies for not adjusting the color balance in the photos.

smashu, fun dress and original too! I love that it has a hood.

Gingerberrycc, your wreath is a fun and cute use of pom poms.

Pest, your glass creations are enchanting.

QueenNinjaMonkey, you found a very cute fabric and some lovely ribbons for the baby blanket.

Prettypenguin, too bad I can't see your gloves.

Hope this counts... lol.

Last weekend I took the Greyhound to Portland for The Brothers of the Baladi concert, and I wanted henna on my hands. SOOOO... I did it on the bus (as I couldn't find anybody to do it for me before I left).

The left hand I did when we left Spokane, and peeled the dried stuff off in Pasco. The right I started when we left in Pasco... but the bus was crazy crowded by that point, and I am sure bouncier (it couldn't possibly be because I'm not left handed)--I only made it so far and gave up. Peeled it off in Portland.

I am doing henna on my palms and feet before my knee surgery next Tuesday, having some friends over for a girls night so I think I will pull out the henna!
