plaidpineapple, I've only made the hat from the pattern but it was super-easy, I cut one of the bags out last night and I'm thinking it will go together just as smooth and fast  I also made the peaked cap a few times in the past and I don't recall it giving me any trouble

Been working on some silverplated pendants that I'm going to be offering in the next SSS.
A couple of them are folded over to make the bails.  The 2 at the bottom that are shaped are from my grandmother's set and are for my sis and me.  Her name was Kikuko (kiku translates to Chrysanthemum) so I esp love that it has a flower.
Been debating whether to stamp them or not...for now, not...but maybe later...also left the patina on because I liked the look.

I love the patina on your spoons--they will be lovely as bails!  The name of one of my previous design names was Kiku Designs!  yeah--it was a mum!   I also had a cat named Kiku...

Heehee, actually they are pendants...I was just saying that a couple have bails made by bending the top part back to create a loop.  The others will just have a jump ring added.    I am probably going to let the gals in SSS customize them if they want with a small stamped word.  Anyhow it was fun making friends with the saw and metal file!

I have no idea what a bail is... I do now--the bendy part that a chain goes through?  I thought it was a "jewelry maker" term for pendant--ha ha  I like them and think that they would be excellent for the SSS!
