smashu: I have a couple vinyl toys sitting around, but I'm having trouble thinking of ideas for them. What did you use to create yours?

I finished the curtains and shower curtains for my bathroom, and 3 Valentines outfits for my nieces.  Plan is to get the craft room organized, my bedroom cleaned, then onto finishing doll outfits and I have 2 weeks to sew a bag for my work project - but would like to finish by the 23rd.

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

For me, it takes about two days to do one sock... Cheesy  I have tried the two socks at a time and it was so confusing to me that it took four times as long! Cheesy  I know indigo_roses and Kookaloo also make socks...they are probably way faster than I am!

I'm not fast either! I prefer the two at a time on one needle method so they're both finished together. I tried dpns and can't control them  Roll Eyes

It takes me about 4 weeks to make a pair of socks. I am amazed by people who can knit so fast as to make 30 or 40 pair of socks in a year.

quaggy, the tag on the siccors, is that a case for it also? So cool looking.

Happy Valentines day all!!!! Grin Thanks for all the nice comments!

No, It was made as a key chain and I figured she would remove the scissors, but if you left the top open where the two pieces of felt are joined it could be!!!  Great idea!!! Kiss

Wow-that seems very impressive-those who can knit 30-40 pairs a year.  Oh!  I sense a challange for next year!  40 socks in 2014!  ha ha ha ha.  That would be some motivation, huh?  Okay, I need to just take my needles and try.  At least one pair right?  I really want some home made socks for myself.  Plus, I think they would be so great for xmas gifts for my family.
