P_E_S_T: Oooo so pretty! I want to be on a beach with sea glass! Sometimes up in Michigan you can get lucky, but you don't find anywhere as much of it!

QueenNinjaMonkey: Love the ornaments, so cute!

Stickerchic: That scarf is flat out awesome! Ooo I may just have added another project to my list!

Jealous of the sea glass too! Here you are lucky to find shells intact, and those gorgeous bits of driftwood seem to be something you only see in the movies. Maybe it's something to do with the amount of ocean before you hit the next lot of land?

StickerChic87 - what is a t-shirt scarf?! Are they old t-shirts - that's awesome!

Yup! I made a rectangle template out of cereal box (with enough room for seam allowances too), laid my tshirts out nice and smooth, and placed the template over the design. Cut out around and then pieced together the front and back. I know there are lots of tutorials online that pry explain the process much better. Cheesy I had a bunch of shirts saved, but you could also just go to a secondhand store as well. Smiley

At first glance the sea glass looks like rock candy. It is so pretty.

Sticker chic that scarf is awesome.

It seems like eveytime I want to take pics, its either too dark out or I am way too tired.  Today Im too tired, work has kicked me in the butt. Tomorrow doesn't seem promising since I work twelve hours. Hopefully I'll get pics up on friday.

What a lovely haul of sea glass! And that is a very cool scarf.

That sea glass is pretty.

One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep. The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.......

I have been busy with swaps and see everyone has been so busy with such great projects, do I see lists getting shorter?  I feel behind but here is my valentines entry, my partner has recieved.   Some felt pencil toppers in a bought vase and 2 hair clips or lapel pins with fabric sewn leafs, a keychain and a three piece kitchen set!

Stickerchic87, love your scarf. It's a creative way to recycle and the scarf seems very soft.

PEST, the pottery pieces you found on the beach look wonderful.

Missmopet, I really like the colors of your cream hat.

Quaggy, what a lovely bouquet of felt hearts.

I went to a diy vinyl toy event and make my own Unicorno!! It was exciting because I haven't actually painted anything (aside from walls and furniture in a functional regard) for years.. I was a painter when I was younger but stopped after too much adversity in life. It felt good to do something fun like this, made me want to start painting on canvases again.
