Almost done with Partner #2's items - I just need to sew on the ***************** and I'll be done. Tryting to get both of these in the mail Monday since I'm leaving for a conference on Tuesday!  Cheesy

ALREADY!?!? I'm still in the do-I want-to-do-this-or-that-or-maybe-that-or-this stage for 1 partner and this-or-that? for the other (leaning toward this but that also is tempting). I do have part of the pattern sketched out so I might just go for it this weekend and see how it does. On the other hand...  Smiley

LOL stop before you give too much away! haha Smiley  wink

LOL. It helped that we had a week of rain here. I love to sew when it's rainy. It's so comforting!

I finished the pattern to one of my items today - but it did not come out as was written on the banderole Sad
SO I frogged it and now I'm starting over and doing it my way haha

Well, I sat down at 530 thinking I would get the pattern sketched.  Then I decided since that was done I would cut out some pieces.  Then I wanted to see what it looked like.  Long story short three hours later and its completely done and ready to ship from work on Monday. I love how it turned out and am excited to start planning the next one!

Start one project AND the third series of the inbetweeners.
Anyone else here remember the TV/movie you watch when you knit/craft? I have a hat pattern that I improvised called "the 1st disk of heroes hat" on my Rav and I cast off for my pixie hat (in like 2005) while watching the 4 feathers.... I remember it very distinctly.
I feel like I should put notes in my ravelry based on the shows I watched while knitting and see if it effects the final result.

I like to watch tv dramas or documentaries while crafting because it's a lot of talking and I don't feel like I have to keep my eyes on the tv. Netflix is awesome for craft time! My two favorite things to watch while crafting is Law and Order SVU and The Fifth Element. Finishing up some things from another swap tonight and then I'll begin crafting for this one!

Law and order was my best friend when I was in art school. Come home, flip on a L&O marathon and do my homework or knit.
I have literally seen EVERY episode of CI, SVU and original L&O....I knit way too much.

Reading that texscrapper is almost ready to send catapulted me into Nike mode (just do it  Cheesy ) I'm almost done with The Project Also Known As This for 1 partner. So far, so good! I'm still having a heated debate for what to make partner #2 (labeled such only because her item isn't almost done Smiley )

@loudxmouse: I think you totally should document patterns and tv shows! I absolutely remember some projects and my choice of entertainment while completing them. There's the Chuck ornament, the Foster's Home ___ (not for this swap, but I haven't sent it yet) among others. There's also the Playlist A notebook cover, the Playlist B skirt, the playlist C pillow cover...
