Sign Ups December 26- January 10. I will do my best to have partners out in no more than 3 days after sign ups end...it's gonna take a while to get everyone partnered up! No worries, there's a long crafting time....send-outs FEB 16th! I reserve the right to deny participation to swappers with a history of late sending and/or poor communication.
In this swap, you will have TWO partners. You will craft in one of three mediums (yarn: knit/crochet, sewing, or embroidery or cross-stitched hoopla). Which ever medium you craft, you will do for each partner. So, if you are a yarnie, you will craft a yarn item for both partners. You would then receive a sewn item from one partner and an embroidery hoop from the other partner. If you do more than one of the crafts, in the questionnaire you can list your preference in which craft you'd like to do, and based on participant needs, I'll do my best to oblige. This is a NO EXTRAS swap. Extras will be noted in feedback comments. I would like us to spend our time working hard on our item and not worrying about extras. This is a minimum MEDIUM CRAFTED ITEM PER PARTNER. Please be sure to spend equal time and effort on your craft for each partner. It's it's ok to send something that you'd consider a Large, as long as you send a “large” to both partners! There is going to be at least a month of crafting time, so communication is very important. You must post in the thread at least once a week. Lack of communication will also be noted in feedback comments. Because there are going to be so many partner groups in this swap, in order to be approved, you MUST be willing to ship internationally (not just USA/Canada internationally, but no restrictions) I will do my best not to partner people where they have to ship both packages internationally, but, with this being a MEDIUM CRAFTED swap, this should keep shipping costs low. Also, speak with your partner. If you want to make a pillow, or something that needs to be stuffed, see if it's ok to send it unfinished to help with shipping costs.
When you send, it's important to mark in the subject line “SENT—sewn” or “SENT—yarn” or “SENT—Hoopla” and when you receive “RECEIVED—sewn” or “RECEIVED—yarn” or “RECEIVED-Hoopla.” This will help tremendously to keep track!
Craftster defines a Medium:
by time= 2 or more hours
by size=one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf
by price=$10-$30 dollars
Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
