This year I decided to make my sister's Christmas present...which I gave to her last night...and her reaction was more than I expected. She nearly started crying....and that made my day totally.

I'm curious to know how about how many labor hours this took you? Not to mention the planning process....  I'm quite enamored with the piece and admire the mosaic process, but have never ventured to try it.  As a fuser, I have tons of scrap glass that might possibly lend itself to this media.  Your work is inspiring.
