I usually sew a lot of things for other people and too few for myself, but in the last few months I managed to make some lolita skirts for myself.

My favorire piece is a black/white striped skirt with a polka dot tulle ruffle. I wore it for our last meetup.

It was really windy, that's why the skir looks so messy (and my hair xD)... so I took a better photo of it on my dress form.

I used the same skirt as part of a queen of hearts costume that I made for a friend's birthday party. I made a red underskirt with some black lace...

... a collar with more lace and a black heart...

... and some heart pins to decorate the striped skirt

Considering that all the red parts were done in one day I love how it turned out. There are some major mistakes in the collar, but nobody noticed xD
Sadly I didn't take a proper photo of me wearing the costume, but I want to wear it again... maybe next time I'll remember ^^

The next skirts were made of chiffon and a beautiful sheer fabric with roses. They're two seperate skirts again because I love to combine skirts with different underskirts ^^

Aaaand the oldest one of this lot: the fabric screamed "Buy me!" at the market where I found them. I couldn't resist...

The bows are detachable and I made some small bows to decorate my hat and shoes as well:

A detail shot of the fabric because I love the patterns and how well they match:

I got the shoes here: http://www.my-size.de/index.php?a=1333 but you can probably find them in other shops or on ebay if you search for Pleaser Gothika-09  Grin

oh very nice!! Love the queen of hearts outfit and the last skirt too. That print is fabulous! I can see why you didn't resist lol. Do you follow a pattern for your skirts or do you draft them yourself?

Thank you all <3

I make all the skirt patterns myself, mostly they're quite simple ^^

And people say that "offbrand" and "handmade" automatically can't look lolita. I love the striped skirt, it's very clever. The black skirt is my favorite, the chiffon looks great on it, I know how hard it is to sew that stuff!

Can't wait to see more pieces and co-ords!
