Olive Rabbit Fur Collar

I've always really loved colorful furs but custom dyed pieces are pretty expensive. After looking around online I found two absolutely gorgeous custom dyed rabbit hides for only 13 dollars and some change each. Instantly loved the color, so I knew i had to grab them.

Though i've never worked with fur before it was surprisingly easy (and kind of fun). To cut it i just flipped the hide over to the back and used an E-XACTO blade to follow along the pattern outlines. Once that was done I used quick-and-dirty hand stitching to fuse the pieces, and then finished the edges using E-6000. All in all the project was finished in about 4 hours.
