You know, plushies always make me the happiest when I see a well crafted one. But I don't think I've even been completely blown out of the water by one, until today. He is PERFECT. The DETAILS on him are amazing. And hie expression is dead on. Oh what I would give to have a plushie this amazing, and of such am amazing character no less. GREAT JOB!

I just started watching The Walking Dead (*cough* I'm watching the last episode of season 2) after reading the comics and I'm slowly starting to like Daryl! You made him so cute!! Cheesy
That hair!! That crossbow!! omg amazing!
You used fur for the hair? That's a great idea!
How do you make that upper armature? I tried that before but it just keeps poking through the felt Sad

Thanks so much!  Cheesy

For the armature, I really just use some wire running from one hand to the other. Just cut the wire (or pipe-cleaner, florist stem, or whatever you're using,) to the size you want + about an inch. Fold half an inch on each side back on itself with pliers, sort of like a rounded "U" so the pokey bit (technical term Wink) isn't facing out towards the hand and can't poke through the fabric. I haven't used felt before but in theory it should work just the same. Cheesy
