Awww. Booooo on the no pin cushions!  Wink My bean filled Chicken from ten years ago is looking tired and faded Cheesy
Hey Robin, maybe you should do like an "embroidery kit" swap after the hoopla swap instead? Send a medium hoopla, a pincushion (bought or made), a needle book and some supplies? We could maybe get more crafters in who are on the fence about starting embroidery that way too Wink

orrrr...maybe in a month or so I can just post that as a separate swap O.O-?

IsikkahJai, I like the embroidery kit swap idea.  I'll have to think on that one for sure!
and BamBam91, a needle book is a small fabric "book" that you use to hold your pins and needles.  It's easier to put in a tote bag to take your stitching with you on the go.

Here's a couple of examples:  http://pinterest.com/pin/199354720974806303/

I made one out of a passport book (faux leather) and I use mine ALL THE TIME!!!
I bought one from a craft store and gave to my DD when she learned how to embroider and she uses hers alot too.

I actually use it more than pincushions........ I just collect pincushions  Cheesy

That is pretty cool. I use the arm of my lounge chair. My partner gets annoyed. Lol. I will have to reupholster my armchair again. I always misplace my pin cushion.

BAAHAHHA!! Bambam, you crack me up  Cheesy My mom used to put her needles in the arm of our love seat too. Until my step brother brought his hand down on one and it went THROUGH his hand  Shocked Undecided She learned real quick not to do that anymore Tongue
I've always been keen to have one of those wrist pin cushions. How convenient they are!
