Anyone up for a pincushion swap or another round of Hoopla?Huh

I am trying to collect pincushions in a beach/ocean theme.

and I'd love to do a Hoopla round with a monogram/initial............

anyone interested?

I would be willing to host the pincushion swap (I've never done one before but I can learn!), but it would def have to be in January.
Not sure if there's a hoopla swap discussion going on, I couldn't find one.

thanks!!!

Why not both?  Cheesy Make a hoopla AND a pincushion, After all, you can really do one without the other, right? Hee hee....I'd be up for this. I need more hoopla on my wall. I just put the three I have up in my new house @^^@

I love hooplas and pincushions and at this point I'm up for any swap that is not ongoing or sweat shop.

kayrun, in the last few hoopla swaps I've been in it's been embroidery OR cross stitch...............just whatever you and your partner agree on, so yep, Cross stitch is more than welcome!!!

Good. I cross-stitch too kayrun  Cheesy I'm too intimidated by the precision of embroidery and all the fancy stitches. Plus I got the most epic hoop from Averia in a hoopla round that will put anything I'd ever attempt to do to shame Tongue But I'd definitely be in for this! I really need more hoops on my wall, embroidery OR cross-stitch. Even fabric quilt hooplas are fun ^^

Or wool felt hooplas!  I've done several and received several. Pretty much anything hoopla Smiley
I know limeriot has organized and troublet,  don't want to step on toes. Anyone know if anyone else is discussing a hoopla round?  I'd wait til the first of jan and I'm thinking of a small to med size hoop. Maybe 4-6". That's not too intimidating or time consuming.

This sounds interesting & I haven't done a hoopla yet but I have made a pincushion & I love both of them. I use several so I have some upstairs & some downstairs so I don't have to worry that I forgot it & have to run up or downstairs to get it in the middle of doing something.
Hooplas I have been wanting to make one & receive one for awhile. Sounds like a lot of fun.

You'll become addicted shara, I swear!  Cheesy It's like money---the more you have, the more you want to add to it! Hee hee. Hoopla are really fun and can be as intricate or simple as you like. Also a bonus, it doesn't HAVE to be embroidery. I do cross-stitch hoopla or Mini quilt hooplas.

I'd be up for this... preferrably a pin-cushion AND hoopla swap. I've never really been into the hoopla's, but I now have one I really really want to make. Though I could always just surprise a random swap partner with it loll
