I am planning on learning how to knit from a teacher of mine at school and I seriously need help. My boyfriend is a HUGE tf2 fan and really wants this scarf here http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Merc's_Pride_Scarf  And I have a few differently sized knitting needles from when my great grandmother passed away. I have been experimenting with crochet and have made a few small monster/animals but I would also love to learn to knit. Theres a picture of someone's progress of this scarf here, but I cant find a pattern. http://imgur.com/a/BPIEw The only problem I would really have would be the little Tf2 logo on the corner. If any one would be willing to help me with a pattern I would be ever grateful! Smiley

The way I think it would look best would be to do it in double knitting.  That might be a bit advanced for you if you are just learning.  It would also mean the colors would be reversed on the other side.

You could also just make a plain scarf and put the TF2 logo on in duplicate stitch.  That is where you use embroidery over the knitting to make it look like you put more effort into color work than you did.  It's pretty easy, though the back won't look as pretty.

When in doubt, use more glue!

Look Ma, I'm on Ravelry!

Thank you so much for the help! I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner. We have decided to try out a different scarf from tf2 before attempting this one. Thank you for your help!
