My son saw a Jake pillow at the game store for $19.99!  Shocked I thought, "I can make a bigger one for a whole lot less." So here's what I came up with. It's a 20x20 pillow. I only spent $12.50 on supplies and have enough fleece left to make a Jake hat and pocket warmers.  Grin

I don't watch Adventure Time, but this pillow is awesome! Did you sew felt on for the eyes? Or did you paint the pillow? Just curious. Great work!

Thanks! His muzzle, eyes and nose are cut from fleece and then sewn on. I did stiffen the pieces with deco bond before sewing them on.

That pillow is awesome. I'm a huge Adventure Time fan and wish I could put Jake's face on everything. The show really does lend itself to crafting, though, with the simplicity of the character designs. But I'm babbling. Anyway, love the pillow and thanks for the tip on the Deco Bond in case any of us would like to try it.

Love this! My hubby saw the pillows (our store had Finn, Jake, B-mo, LSP, and... I can't remember what the other one they had in was lol) and they were $20 as well...and he wanted them so bad! But we couldn't afford it! I have a bunch of pillows that I could just use to stuff them.... Well, as soon as I have the money I'll be hitting the fabric store for fleece! It'd make the best Xmas gift or birthday gift for him!

And even better! I could make all our fave characters! Like marceline! And the gender bent gang! And Raincorn! Bwah! So amazing! I'm all excited now! I have 2 really really long pillows that I can totally use for lady rainicorn and lord monichromicorn!

Thanks guys. I think I have enought left over fleece to make him a Jake hat and some pocket warmers too. And I bought fleece from the bargain bin to make a Finn pillow.  Smiley

Aw, I love Jake! You should make him a matching Finn one!
