My cousin wanted me to knit her a Cthulhu scarf but I just couldn’t figure out a good way to do it. Then, I fell in love with this mitten pattern http://www.twistcollective.com/collection/component/content/article/100-fall-2012-patterns/1232-horatio-and-oren-by-barbara-gregory at first sight so I bought it, planning at least two pairs of adorable owl mittens for friends. Through an awesome mistake, I printed it on ink saving mode and the mittens didn’t have the design in them. A light bulb went off in my head- Cthulhu has a big round head just like these owls. So I drew my own pattern into the printed directions and knitted up some xmas presents!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
