I love this! 

I usually tape down my backing, lay the battening down, then the top making sure everything is centered on my table and hand baste it.  I find my quilts don't shift that much.

I was able to do that once at a Sewing Day with my guild when we had big tables, it was awesome! I don't have a big table or hard floor in my house though Sad I didn't swear at all during the process, and usually I say all the swears during basting.

Your quilt is great! I've been quilting about a year or so, and have made more quilts than I count. My girls and I all have several quilts but my son isn't interested in any patterns I have. He's a HUGE zelda fan and been trying to find a pattern to make him one for his 18th b-day next month. Where did you find the link pattern you used???
