Avengers Assemble! Banner/ Hulk mug

an old friend asked me to paint this for her O/H who is a huge Avengers fan; well.....as a fellow comic geek i could hardly say no
i included his favourite quote from the movie too
 
Mark Ruffalo as Dr Banner/ The Hulk
painted with black and grey underglaze on pre made bisque, dipped in clear glaze and fired. i wanted to try and make the actor recognisable but doing so in a style reminiscent of the film more humble comic origins. im really pleased with how this turned out. i think i need to make one for myself...
