So I have an old beat up card table in my craft room that I want to put a new cover on. It is just a cheap one and I'm unable to get the top off- it doesn't have normal screws in it...Sad

I was wondering about just decoupageing the top instead? It's vinyl on top with some small tears and holes. Would this work? Any other ideas??

What do you use the card table for?

What about making a fabric cover for it - you could incorporate that quilted heat proof material for part of the top to make a small section for ironing small bits nearby, and incorporate storage pockets for scissors, snips, marking pens, rulers or what ever notions you like, and a stuffed part for a pin cushion?

If you do want to decoupage the top, you probably could, so long as you use the right adhesive.  You could use a thin resin like Envirotex to coat the top to make it more durable and level it out.
