Milk weed pod wreath

I made this for Mom's door. She is in a nursing home. When I was little, she was always making milk weed pod ornaments for the tree.  She has dementia and does not remember this, but it feels good to give her "payback." She loves the wreath.

I don't know what milkweed is, but I like the results.  It's quite unusual, and really stunning.
