Very cute and clever---and using something that would otherwise be thrown out is wonderful!

Also, a great way to use up scraps of papers, bits of ribbon...thanks for sharing your obsession and showing so much variation!

I just finished off a roll of wrapping paper and realized that I could make a dozen hats out of the cardboard tube!!!  Christmas bonus!

I have boxes of vintage piano music.  Some as old as 1890's!  PM me if you'd like some!

For sure! Hahaha, I already made 3.

1 with black felt and little gold stars, attached a rubber band and my son wore it to his Christmas dinner, so cute. One with paper towel, zebra print and one with a sort of black string. Maybe I can take pics of them this weekend. Not that they are that great, but it is a lot of fun to make!

I'll have to post pictures (after Christmas) but I'm kinda going crazy! I've got feathers and ribbon and beads and I'm drawing on mine too. @_@

I'm also gluing a wire to it to make Christmas tree branch ornaments. ^_^

SO MUCH FUN!  I made a bunch already; all I have to do is decorate them.  I'll post finished photos when they are done, but in the mean time, here is a progress shot.

Thanks so much for the tutorial again!

These hats are awesome! Thank you so much for the tutorial - this is definitely going on my to-do list. *Think I'll be using mine for fascinators*. A whole bunch of them could look cool in some sort of display case too.

Wouldn't it be cool if the hats came in little hatboxes?! ;-)
