I sent 4 more piggies out today!  I left my international packages at home, because I am a dork like that, so I need to make a special trip tomorrow or Saturday because rates go up on Sunday.

I have participate in swaps like this in other forums too. It was nice shipping one item and getting a bunch back in one package. I thought that would be great here too but when I looked it up it was against the rules. It would be awesome for a swap like this!

I know in some other forums that I participate in, one person gets all the goods and then ships to everyone...we include postage for a flat rate package and receive all our goods at the same time.  In my last swap, it cost me $10--$5 to send my goodies to the organizer and $5 to get them back.  In the next swap, we are going for a medium flat rate box, so it will be more expensive, but still, about $25 round trip.  It is a lot more work for whomever organizes, however...a lot more!

Progress!  All of my items are packaged, labeled, and in a tote bag ready to go.  I thought that we had customs forms here at the house but I can't find them so I will need to fill out 3 at the post office.  With the kids running about, it will not be fun.

Ahhh!!!! The snow put a kibosh on my post office plans this morning. I will have to go tomorrow to send out my international packages... I hope the city finally gets their butts in gear and plows by tomorrow... that may just be wishful thinking though.

I'm also hoping to ship in the morning... I will have a few that may not make the cut (still knitting like the wind!!!), but the majority will go out-- especially the internationals!

Yay for my mom!  She sat in the car with the kids while I was in the post office.  Yay for no lines at the post office!  And yay for the fact that shipping was only $26 for all 9 packages(I thought I would at least spend $40)!

Oh so many senders already  I'm doing some final carving tonight and tomorrow...
