I have to ask, not that it makes a difference cuz I love both, but would you knit or crochet?  I love knit cuz I can't do it and I would love a crochet scarf too because, although I do crochet, I NEVER make stuff for myself, despite wanting to, lol

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

I'm a little scarf obsessed right now... Maybe that should be the direction I should take?  I could do five of two types maybe... Ruffle, hooded, scarflet, cowl...  I had just better decide while yarn is on sale at Michael's this week! Wink  Anyone have any preferences?
I like all of those.

P.S. Ignore Always. Wink You need to stay in this swap. Don't go haring off to that other swap. Grin

ha ha I think she joined both like I did! :d

I can't crochet worth crap or I would join the winter scarf swap. I'm dying for a ruffle scarf or that pretty Luna scarf I have pinned on my crochet and Knit board. I have lots of warm scarves, I want fashion scarves!!  Wink

How does the community feel about a newbie joining in?  I LOVE the swaps and have been stalking ogling the galleries.  I'm not as crafty as you talented folks, but I do some work in fused glass.  Would anyone be interested in fused glass necklaces - either dichroic or standard art glass - or fused glass tart warmers?

Glasskicker, are you kidding? That's crafty as hell! I think it's one of those cases of coveting what you can't do, because I would GUT someone to get a fused glass pendant. Make 10!!!

I'm not attached to your world, nothing heals, nothing grows... we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another.

life is no cabaret- we don't care what you say, we're inviting you anyway, you mf'ers, you'll sing someday!

Oh, I'm doing the scarf swap too... There is NO such thing as too many scarfs (pretty, warm or otherwise)  Grin  But don't get me wrong, I am so totally in this one.

I knit, but I use a loom (because I'm not as talented as the needle knitters out there for whom I have a great deal of respect).  I don't really have the attention span or manual dexterity to learn needles or crochet (I've tried), but I've been really impressed with how versatile I'm finding out the loom can be... So it's been fun!

I'll make my decision tonight and shop for supplies tomorrow so that I can get pictures posted ASAP.  Woohoo!!! So excited...

Ditto, ditto! I lo-o-o-o-ve glasswork. I'll definitely put one of your pendants on my want list.

Glass kicker, one for my FAVORITE Sweat shoppe items is a red and rainbow fused glass pendant Sweetyetevil made for me my first round. When I wear it I get so many compliments!! I would really really love to have another! It's possibly one of my favorite kind of pendants.  Cheesy

Ya'all are such a welcoming bunch!  I have a serious case of craft-envy and have been coveting the treasures you create!  I'm quite excited to join in and have sent off my questionnaire!  Thanks so much!
