I"ve never done a Sweat shoppe round before.....sounds like it could be lots of fun.  I"m thinking an embroidered hoop?  Maybe an owl??? like this:

I love all of the ideas so far!  Robinpich, that owl is adorable!  I'd love it for my classroom, which is completely decorated in owls.    I did mini embroideries for a SSS a few years ago. They were a lot of fun to make.

I keep saying that I want to join a swap again, but I've been so busy since the school year started.  I think I should have time to craft over winter break, so if I come up with something good to craft I'm joining!

Ha!  I was just making an owl hat for my sister-in-law for Christmas and thought I might do that instead of the cowl.  We can have an owl themed swap.

I will be offering Owl Be There. They have a pin backing and will come as a set of two. They are about 2 1/2 inches tall.

I'm doing a 5/5 (unless there aren't enough sign ups), and I've been trying to work through the 5 I'll default to if that happens, but I don't have enough coordinating ribbon, so I can't finish until I go to Michaels. So I'm going to go through my photobucket and dig up pictures of the other set (I offered them several rounds ago). Hopefully I can get pictures up by tonight.

Looks like we have an owl theme going for sure, hahaaa....
I'm going to wait until the very last to sign up (I know, lame), but we have so much family coming to visit AND I start a new job TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!! eeeeeeeeekkkkk, very nervous but excited also.

At age 47, starting something (learning!) is not as easy as it was in my 20s/30s, esp after working for the same company for the last 10 yrs.  We moved from Al to Fl in April and this will be job #3 and I"m just plain tired, hahaaaa...

I'll keep a watch on this swap............... ...........
