I think I'm going to sit this round out.  Some great ideas on here, but I've offered to organize either a pincushion swap or another hoopla round.  I don't wanna stretch myself too thin, so I'm gonna just sit and watch all the lovely items that come from this round.

I am thinking of joining in with some sterling silver earvines or studs - or some sort of other earrings if anyone has any ideas?

Sylvani--if you decide on the knitted calorimetry, be sure to read all of the notes and comments...the original pattern was way to large for most people...I have made probably 30 of these and had to change her pattern dramatically.  I can send you my notes, but this will take some time to make...those short rows can be a pain!

Thank you for your advice. ^^
Usually I use yarn that is thinner than the one recommended for this pattern, and it always worked very well. Plus the calorimetry has many buttonholes so you can adjust it the way you want. But I'm very interested in your notes.

I've never done a sweat shoppe before. It sounds interesting. Would anyone be interested in Tutus?

I thought I might add flower imbellishments like that rose, but in different colors to match the tutus.

Does anyone want to make some blank notecards?

I can always use some of those to send with swaps and to give with a gift...I like small ones the best... Cheesy

I'm carving stamps, but I'll be happy to add some (stamped) blank note/thank you cards. Cheesy

The tutu idea is cute, but I only have a boy and I don't see myself wearing one... Tongue

ha ha idlersdesign...I would pay to see you in a tutu! Cheesy

I have a 4 year old niece who would love a tutu...

I am sure I can find someone to gift for any of the items anyone wants to make!  I like having a lot of things on hand for that perfect handmade gift!

Robinpinch--PINCUSHION Swap!?  I love those!

I'm several decades too old to be caught wearing a tutu and I can't wear any form of earrings, but like alwaysinmyroom said, I'm sure I could always gift others with my goodies. I have a great-niece and two great-great nieces who would look sweet in the tutus and both of my daughters like earrings, so I think those ideas are both good.

Alwaysinmyroom- one of my two 5's is notecards. But they're bigger, like 4 inches by 6.5. Hopefully you'll still like them, and maybe someone will make a smaller set!
